Ebisu is the god of fishermen and good fortune. Ebisu is often portraited with a fishing rod in his right hand, and with a large red sea bream dangling from the line or tucked under his left arm. In Japan, this fish (sea bream or red snapper) is a symbol of good forture.
And Gojyo is from "Saiyuki"

I have the whole Sanzo-ikkou as gods somewhere at my lj but I didn't crosspost it anywhere else.
can he be a kappa, and the god of fishermen at the same time? nevermind, it's a great picture. i'd love to see the goku and hakkai ones! (demanding, aren't i? :XD: )

If he is a kappa, he should know a lot about fish and fishing ^^
